Clay box

I need to do a clay box/ tresure box/ soul box for my art class that I am taking. Here is an example:




Now you see, my art mark is rather low, so I need to up my standards...but I am not sure what kind of extravagant box I can make.

Another example would be for a sailor, he sees a lighthouse whenever he sails in and when he leaves...so he could make a light house... I also have to be able to put a tealight in it..sigh~

I would just make a box and maybe cut some shapes out of the side, but I dont think my mark will raise if i do that.

I was wondering if anyone has some ideas?
