Such and such
May. 3rd, 2005 02:39 pmA few things as of recently
I haven't had much time this past semester for crafting due to work and school. Especially this obscenely intense color theory class I've had, which was more of a painting/drafting/coloring/animation/portfolio/computer graphics/color&composition class. Most of my time was spent in that. Not to mention I recently got a digital camera, so here are a couple things I've done.
My Russian bag. It's about 20 inches across and 14 inches tall. The officer is saying "hello" in Russian, and as you can tell, the other guy is just lost.

(contrasted to show pockets)
Bird Cosmetic Pouches. About eight inches across, five inches high.

pattern
A couple hats I've crocheted. Floppy bucket style. I had a few beanies, but those have been distributed between friends.

Finally, a Feng-Shui quilt/wall hanging for my color theory class. I'm not much of a painter, so when my professor gave us this project and said we could use any meduim, I jumped at the oppotunity to use fabric, seeing as it's what I have a lot of creative diversity in. Basically, sewed for three days straight. No sleep. If I wasn't at work, I was sewing. (Even sewed in classes, haha.) The basic assignment was to use the format of feng shui and the colors/textures that are associated with each, with iconic images and the copy written in a way that would express the word, if you only looked at that.

(a square I'm particularly proud of, quite a lot of intricate details.)
The end!
