hi. i'm jaymi and i just joined yesterday. i'd post pictures of everything i've made recently, but i'm afraid that's all top secret until my best friend gets them for christmas. she might read this!

my questions are about marble magnets. i just made my first two sets last night, and i'm having some beginners trouble. for those of you that use bond 527 to glue everything together, i have a question. when you look at my magnets straight on, they look fine. but, when i put them up on the fridge, there are dark spots that distort everything. i made sure to push out any air pockets and did see that the glue made it to the edges. so, what's the problem? am i supposed to hold down each marble until they dry?

another silly question. are the marble supposed to be bigger than the magnet? i found huge bags of marbles in the crafts section, but those were all in terrible shape. what i was able to use i glued onto 3/4" magnets. i found more expensive ones in the glass decorating section that i put on 1/2" magnets. the marbles overlap the magnet quite a bit. the magnets i use are extra strength, so i'm not worried about that. i just wonder if the images get too distorted this way.
