May. 15th, 2005 07:57 pmI was bored to tears last night. I ate the last it's it in the freezer on friday and saved the box for some reason and here are the results.

the top/flap

opened

back/closed
the inside!

ID pocket
This is the first time a tape project of mine has turned out well. For the polka dot pocket, I cut the shape out of cardboard, wrapped it in white duct tape first, then the polka dot tape. I had to go over the whole thing twice-three times with packaging tape. For the ID holder, I used the vinyl saved from the packaging that a pair of tights came in; I knew I saved it for something! I dont' think I'll actually get much use out of this, I'll probably carry it when I go out to shows or something. I think I'm going to make another one to sell, I'm really strapped for cash. I want to go get more it's-its and make more!!
Any ideas on how to get the flap to close? I tried superglueing a snap onto it, but it broke right off. Also, how do I get the superglue off the plastic? alcohol will do it, woudlnt' it?
