Elephant Walletness
May. 16th, 2005 04:40 pmSo, I decided that it was time to retire my packaging-tape Olympic wallet for the time being. It had been holding up since last August, and, well, it still looked great, but I got bored.
A month back or so I got a shipment of free swatches from Smith and Nobles. Since the swatches were small, I really had no idea what to use them for until I saw this yesterday. Then everything became clear.
I whipped out some newspaper, cut myself a pattern, and started to sew. One hour later, I had this beauty, almost done.
Unfortunately, I had homework to finish, so my project got slightly postponed.
Today after school I sat down with my lovely ipod, Sylvia, and hand-sewed the walled closed, and then began to model it in various positions.
