i finished a scarf and a hat today! for my sister for christmas. and on the hat i put a little flower thing i made. it's the first two things i've ever crocheted. i had a started scarf from last year at school when my then roomate taught me to crochet. i finished it up and it's not the same stitches as before but it works. and i just started on a hat and it actually turned out to be wearable. i was surprised since i just guessed and i somehow switched the type of stitching i did on that too, but it turned out and i made this weird little flower. when i get a picture i'm totally putting it up because the fact that i crocheted anything is a miracle. they're this light maroon color. yipee. tomorrow i'm hiking over to michael's with my dog and a backpack ( i have no car ) and i'm getting other things to make for the rest of my sisters and my cousins. yay!
