Tea-Dye

Here is a T-shirt I made for my little sister. I used a tea dye consisting of rose tea, blueberry tea, nutcracker tea, and whatever stale teas I had laying around. I splattered a dilluted bleach solution on to the shirt, rinsed, washed, and then stuck it back into the tea dye. After I got the desired color I painted on a design using gold and black acrylic paint along with a mixing medium. I heat set the whole thing to ensure that it wouldn't wash away.
