So, my summer project is learning how to sew on a machine, since my hand sewing is abysmal, conveniently my grandma went to vocational school for sewing and is willing to help me out. This is the first thing I've made and my grandma's teaching method is letting me go until I make a mistake, so I made it mostly on my own. It took me four hours total because I can't seem to sew in a straight line; the thread ripper was my friend.

Made with this tutorial. If you use it there is a typo in the begining and the pocket sizes are reversed so make sure you check against the picture.

The camera died before I got a picture of the lining, which is in the pink.

I messed up on one of the pockets and after countless seem rippings it is still a bit crooked, but I still like it.

Since I need the practice anyway I have promised wallets to a few friends and I have seen a bunch of great wallets here so Iwould love to know what some of your favorite patterns are, or even simple non wallet patterns. (yes I know some can be found in the memories but I'm hoping for some that might not be there)

Thank you all for inspiring me to learn sewing and knitting (which I hope to learn this summer as well) and for getting me back to crafting in general.
