I'm looking to DIY a cotton shirt I've got by adding lace, which I'd like to stick on with glue. So I mentioned to my mum that I'd be getting fabric glue in the week, but she told me I already had some. She produced a bottle of regular PVA [white] glue, and said since it apparently glues fabric it should be fine for my project. I've heard a couple different opinions however. Has anyone used PVA for sticking fabric to fabric? Does it hold up in the wash, or should I just wait and get some proper fabric glue?
