Murdoc never looked so stylish
May. 29th, 2005 05:11 pmMy first real t-shirt surgery, and I think it turned out well. I've made some shirts into fitted things and such, but no major overhauls like this one was. So be nice. :)
I still love the band Gorillaz, and since they just came out with a new CD, I decided it was time to rock the band shirt again. Unfortunately, since I got it a couple years ago, it's faded and shapeless and not cute. Sewing machine to the rescue!

Showin' the strappies. ^_^ The straps came from a bag of mix-n-match stuff that I bought from Hobby Lobby because I spied some zippers in it.

Sorry for the blurry. Back of the shirt. Also sorry that my arm looks like a chicken wing. XD

Full front with sleevies. I had cut off the sleeves of the red shirt I wanted the material from, and decided not to waste perfectly good bells for some tummy-fabric. They fit great.

Another chest shot with the sleevie.

The St James Maneuver.
So worth the few hours of aggrivation (the sewing machine decided it was too good for me and for twenty minutes, proceeded to eat every piece of material I gave it and knot up the thread. We sorted out our differences) and forgetting to go eatbreakfast lunch dinner. I earned my Easy Mac.
