Advice needed please! I didn't know who else to turn to... and besides, you crafty girls are so awesome!!! I apologize if anyone gets pissed off that I posted this here. =/
It's about Party Ideas.
I am in need of party planning advice!!! Basically I need suggestions and ideas about what the hell to do.
First of all, this will be my Birthday/Going Away to College Party, set in August.
I've considered themes of my school (ohio state) or German (my major). But I'm a poor college student so instead of buying logo stuff, I'd basically be making stuff myself.
1) Should I combine themes? Or....? I was thinking of maybe a German "theme" and everyone showing up wearing OSU colors?
2) Any DECORATION ideas (besides coordinating colors)
3) I'm having about 30 people. Potluck? (if so, potluck containing German and/or Vegetarian recipies only? (i'm veg, and tired of my family having food that I can't eat at their parties!!!) or like "tailgate" party snack foods?)

So far I've thought about the paper/plastic dishes in solid black, yellow and red (german flag colors)or red and gray (OSU) but that's about it. =/

the only "crafty" part of this is the decorations. but those who are crafty are creative and i could use any feedback what-so-ever!! thank you for your time and space. =D
