2 altered shirts and a kitty bowl
Jun. 4th, 2005 04:20 pmShirt on the left has nasty residue from the size sticker and the shirt on the right is way too small.

See, gross:

So I made a tree to cover up the gross spot.

The bottom part of the tree is from the too small shirt and the top part is from some fleece.
The other side seems so empty now. I can't decide if I want to add something over there (maybe some clouds all around the top) or just leave it as is.

This stencil was too cute and oh so fitting.

The only problem is I don't have any paint. So instead, I cut out the picture...
...taped it onto some fabric that won't fray...

...cut it out...

...

...removed the pattern and tape...

and glued it onto a tanktop with washable fabric glue:

I'm now in the process of turning it into a corset style top:

I went to the Petroglyph (place to paint ceramics) yesterday and painted a water bowl for my kitty (yes, her name is cat). It still needs to get fired (cooked/turned all shiny like).
