I checked the memories before posting but couldn't find anything really related to this topic:

I'm looking to bejewel some fabrics and I was curious to know if anybody had used a tool of higher quality than the $20 bejeweler at every craft store. I had it once and found it did a pretty mediocre job of securely fastening studs. I'm gonna be using swarovskis, and I really want them to stay. I don't want to glue on if possible, unless there is some kind of ridiculously strong glue you'd recommend also. Also, where can you get the backings for cheap?
