I'm trying to make some drop spindles, I have wheels that have a 5/16th inch hole in them and I have dowels that are only 4/16th across. I've searched at Lowes and Home Depot only to find 4/16th inch dowels. I KNOW there is a way to make this work, I just don't know it.
What could I use to to maybe wrap around that section of the dowel to make it fit snug? I've got some 7800 adhesive that dries clear, I thought about putting it around the dowel and then just sticking it in but then the dowel would sit on just one side of the hole and it'd be offbalanced which I def. do NOT want.
Any suggestions? Ideas?
