I've been a long-time lurker, and I've posted under another name (girlwithpencil). I'm sorry to make a post like this, but I know that there are a few mothers in this community, so I hope this is not an inappropriate post for this community.

I am going to babysit my niece (two years old), and my nepehw (who will be four in a couple of weeks) for a few weeks this summer. Since I live in Norway, I'm pretty sure that there will be a few rainy days and I was hoping some of you might know of some fun activities they would enjoy on days like these? I know that my nephew loves to "help baking" (as in... decorating what his mum makes), but Gerd might be a bit too young for this. I know I could just give them some markers and some paper, but I want to do a few things that they might not have done before, so they'll have a cool experience with their aunt.

I know of a few activities, but I'm not sure if they're age-appropriate to the both of them.

Any suggestions at all would be welcome. :)
