Kanzashi!!!

Hi!! My first picture post!! As promised, I'm sharing a crafty thing I've done.

Inspired by everyone's beautiful flowers, I decided to try my own -
finally. And I'm totally pleased with it. I made it with some light
weight white canvas (It looks cream in the photos), a vintage button
from my stash, a czech glass bead, and a pin back. I cannot find my
fabric glue, and by now it's been packed so long that it is probably
dry, so I ghetto styled it and just sewed the pin on the back of the
flower. (I moved to LA about a year ago and some of my crafty stuff is
still in boxes)

Any ideas on how to make it more flat?
