Father's Day

Sooooo....I've been planning my Father's Day project for quite awhile now! He lives out of state, so I'll be sending it tomorrow. (Hopefully it'll get there by Saturday!) This was all brought on because my dad gave me an iPod mini for Christmas/birthday. I kept the box, hoping to do something with it (besides it looked cool!).

And now... on the Father's Day!




This is the box I'm sending with everything inside it! Tissue paper in there too to keep everything nice and neat. ^.^ Contents include: an iPod mini box, card, candy, and a little Luke Skywalker toy.



This is the front of the iPod mini cozy box.



And the backside! (Everything is collaged in printed paper, tissue paper, and tape.



The inside of the box! On the left side is an iPod mini cozy + note and on the left is a CD and a couple photoshopped pictures of me printed on pink printing paper.



Open the top to get a surprise!



Surprise! It's a Mix CD! The photoshopped cover says 'Assembled: A Father's Day remix'. It contains a bunch of old and new songs that my dad loves.

iPod cozy and note revealed!



Close up of the iPod cozy. It's made from a lovely handspun green&blue wool I found on eBay recently. The button is an old bead I had laying around.



Headphones slot!



I used my own mini to give it a test run. It fit nicely. ^.^



Aaaaand the sum total of the giftbox. Interestingly enough, the rinky dink Luke toy doubles as a slide projector thingie. Go figure. Ooh and my dad LOVES chocolate peanut clusters. I have the feeling those are going to melt in the mail. >.<
