Kimono Fabric Bags and Belts
Jun. 14th, 2005 08:33 amI did some sewing over the weekend - and created some new bags and belts using vintage kimono fabric. I drafted the pattern for the bag myself - and the D-ring belts were easy to figure out how to make (and a fantastic way to use up thin pieces of fabric!)

The Bags:
Made from Obi Fabric:

Lining
Cute Girly Fabric and Kanoko Shibori (rawr!)

Lining
Back
Beautiful Brocade

Lining
Back
This belt is silk kanoko shibori and subtle purple silk on the other side. I think it might just be my favourite!

How it looks worn - they are reversible! Yay!

The rest are these amazing vintage cottons - such fantastic patterns and colours and all reversible :]
