I made some armsocks for a friend of mine the other day, and in way of payment she let me keep the feet

What I actually did was filled them with scraps of fabric (at the suggestion of someone who commented on my "what do I do with my scraps?" post), along with some dried lavender. Then I turned down the tops at the ankles and gathered them. Voila!

I was thinking of making a pair to sell out of some grey&black stripy sock feety bits that my friend also let me keep, but then I realised that no-one in their right mind would buy something so random and so easy to make ^_^
