I made my first altered t-shirt last night. I still need to hem it, but you get the drift.

During Hurricane Ivan we got way laid without luggage in Atlanta. We ended up with matching shirts. My husband has since given his to good will, but I wanted to see what I could do with mine.

It was also too small around the middle so I did this to the sides:


It fits great now.
