Patterns?

I'm wondering if anyone knows of or has seen patterns that would match these two tops from Urban Outfitters:




I'm cheap so I really don't want to spend $40-$60 dollars on these items that I know I could most likely make myself. Has anyone ever made something like these?
The red top is listed as "Sleeveless Heart Surplice" of cotton/spandex/polyester. The blue jacket is listed as "French Terry Yoke Jacket". Not being a fan of terrycloth at all, would another fabric work just as well with a pattern like this? Most of my sewing projects are for decoration purposes instead of clothing, I've done a few but I'm not super familiar with clothing-esque sewing projects, but I want to make these two things so bad (plus living outside the US I can't run to the closest UO store to drool over them)!

I've just searched the Simplicity website for patterns but didn't see anything that looked like it worked for either of the two. Anyone know of some patterns that could be useful? Any help would be appreciated!!!
