craftgrrlI finished my first freehand (i.e., no pattern) project today, a halter top. I was inspired by a similar item made by someone a couple of weeks ago here.
The bottom and back are a sort of openwork (3dc, ch 1, sk 1), while the top is in a fan design (sc, sk 2, 5 dc in same st, sk 2). The trim is in a darker blue, using reverse sc, which is way harder than it looks. My first time trying that, too. But it was fun, and I'd definitely do it again.
