First off, a question. There's a t-shirt that I really want to get but the store doesn't have a place to try it on so it's a hit and miss thing. It's a normal adult (mens sizes, I'm guessing) band t-shirt so they're big sized. There's one small left though, I'm wondering if anyone would know or guess as to what size that'd be in junior girls size? Like I said, I'd just try it on but it doesn't have a dressing room and I won't wear anything if it's TOO tight...

Anyway I haven't posted in awhile so here's a few things I've been up to lately.

I mainly make small handbags and purses so this was my sorta like a trial and error deal 'cause I had no idea how to do a flap for it. Turned out better than I expected, this is the first bag I've ever gone 'all out' on too, there's a pocket inside and an elastic cellphone pocket too. I'm happy with it, use it all the time now too! Pins are my new thing to collect, I plan to cover it sooner or later. And for the record, those are house slippers! XD

I just learned how to crochet about...2 weeks ago I guess. My stitches are still kinda sloppy and I can't get them all even yet but that comes with practice I suppose. Shopping for fabric was always hard for me 'cause there's just so much pretty stuff to chose from, but I think shopping for yarn is even HARDER.

My boyfriend and I are in a long-distance relationship so I wanted to make him some stuff to take home with him next time we're together. Our favorite band is Interpol, so I took some lyrics from one of our favorite songs by them and embroidered them onto a pillow. Crappy picture but it says "Swoon baby starry nights" incase you can't make it out. I put a pocket on the back too and made a gushy mix CD (with the song the lyrics are from as the first track, heh) and slipped it in the back. Gonna spray it down with my perfume and give it to him before he leaves to go back home.

I got this idea from this post on craftgrrl awhile back and saved the link because I thought it was a really cute idea. My mom and dad both do a lot of woodworking so I swiped a box they made 'cause it fit just right for this. Cut out about 86 little strips of paper with a rotary cuter and ruler (which was still quite a task) and wrote stuff on each one before folding it up into the little stars. Our favorite quotes, lyrics, good memories we've had, inside jokes, things I love about him, things like that. Ended up with 83 stars I think (3 got ripped on accident) and wrote out a gushy note on some pretty paper to go along with it. I REALLY can't wait to give it to him, I hope he likes it. Gets to open up one each day until we're together again, but I told him it'd be ok to open them all on the plane home if he felt like it. ;D

Goodness I ramble too much, forgive me.
