Fruit-i-licious

I finally went to the new bead shop in my town after months of saying that I would go. It's probably better that I waited so long, because now I'm hooked and will be spending way too much.

I finally found some fruit beads. I've been looking everywhere with no luck. So I made this:



There's a carrot (I know it's not a fruit, but I got one of each bead like that), bananas, cherries, grapes, a strawberry and a pineapple. I also used a heart and arrow toggle for a closure.





I really need to get one of those fake heads to put my necklaces on for pictures, haha.

I also found some cool cube black beads and coin-shaped magenta beads. They almost look purple, but that's because I put them on something blue.



Also, I got a sewing machine this weekend so I finally started to decorate a purse that I got on clearance a few months ago. I don't know how I want to make the handles yet. The premade plastic ones cost just as much as the purse, and I'd like something more unique.
