Star Trek cookies

craftgrrlI had a Star Trek movie marathon a few weeks ago and I made geeky cookies for it. I made the cutter and stuff so I figured it was crafty enough to post here.
I made the cookie cutter using bristol board or card stock type stuff and then covered it with tin foil.
They weren't perfect, but I thought it got the point across.
I had never made sugar cookies before (I'm a chocolate chip kind of person) so I didn't realize how fat and stupid looking they would get. Also, Safeway didn't have yellow or gold sugar crystals so I had to use red, which makes them look even worse. But it was a learning experience, and I'm still proud of my cutter. Heh.
