C'mon crafties!!

I really need something to put my jewelry in. I was thinking a shoe box, but I think everything would get all tangled up. Then I thought of a bead box, but the little dividers aren't big enough to fit some of my big earrings or stiff necklaces. I made sure and emptied out one my sister had..Haha, then I had to put everything back in! I don't really want something that stands upright...Does that make sense? What I mean is I don't really want something like these:

I want something shoe box sized to where I could put a collage/decoupage type things on it with Mod Podge. But how could I make dividers? Anyone have ideas? All and any advice is GREATLY appreciated! Thnx so much!
