Jul. 13th, 2005 10:56 pmI need some advice...
I bought these shoes, and while I love the fabric I just feel they are too blue :( So, is there anything I can do to make them less blue? I already thought I could change the shoelaces for white or brownish to match the spots, but what I'd really like to do is change the colour of the rubber from blue to something else. Has anyone tried painting the rubber bits on shoes like this (like converse etc or even wellies)? What did you do and how sucessful was it? I thought acrylic paint would just crack and flake straight away, would spray paint be better? Do you think that cracked white paint over the blue would look interesting, well, good enough to wear anyway? Could I bleach them? If I can't change the blue then I might just take them back and save up for the 'perfect' pair....Any tips or ideas are most welcome :)
