craftgrrl | stupid question attack!

i really hate it when people ask dumb questions like this, but we all have our bad days, right?

i want to do a stencil on a t shirt. ive never done it before, but people on this community do it always and it seems fairly simple. the most common tools ive seen people use are paint and freezer paper.

what the crap is freezer paper???
does it go by some other name/brand name that i dont know of? we have tons and tons of various kitchen related papers, plastics, and metals in my kitchen...but nothing called freezer paper. my dad doesnt even know what it is. *cries piteously*

ill post pics of stuff later today.
especially if someone helps me with this dilemma!
