I hadn't made jewelry for a while when I decided to dig through my overfilled bead boxes and throw some things together. I need more feedback than what my mom gives me, which is nice, but not very constructive.

Freshwater pearl and mother of pearl. IT'S A PEARL PARTY.

I'm not sure if I like the bead toppers on these. My main homie
[livejournal.com profile] nymphalumina has requested a pair but if you painted a rock
red and silver she'd give you five dollars for it, I bet.

I had this really strong desire to use turquoise and silver and not make
something native-american themed-looking. The hooks on these are
kind of shitty because I tried making them myself. This was before I
got a bunch of much better hooks.

I had a pair of green earrings like these up for sale on the site and they
lasted about a day. I only had one pair of the beads I used for the big
bead at the bottom, but so many people bugged me about making more
that I bought a pair of pretty much every color of Austrian crystal beads
they had at Treasure Island :x

THESE TAKE FREAKING FOREVER TO MAKE. THEY SHOULDN'T
BUT THEY DO.

While we were waiting to go into trial at the US Courthouse in New York
City, my friend Bronwyn turned to me and said that I don't make enough
gold jewelry. True story.

A question: Does anybody know of a good website to order silver wire from? I mean silver-silver, not silver colored. Right now I'm limited to using extra straightpins from the earrings [see the turquoise swirl ones] and so I never have a good length of wire to work with. Blegh.
