This took a VERY long time, but it came out SO well.

I cut the stencils out in freezer paper (images that were edited from a photograph in Photoshop to make stencils...I'll explain more if anyone wants) and then painted with acrylic + textile medium, one layer at a time. Each color paint is a new stencil put on the image.
It looks really clean and yay! I'm happy with it. :)



Instead of filling in the white with paint, we left it as negative space, since the shirt is a nice light pink. I think it looks pretty good though, and it might have been overwhelming with bright white. The flash causes the spots on the paint. It sort of looks like it's thinner in some spots, but it's not.
