So I found these ratty, torn, smelly, stained, rusty old chrome and vinyl chairs on the side of the road during my towns large item pickup week. And I, having only one kitchen chair, decided to take them home. The chairs were so bad when I brought them home that I didn't bring anything inside the house until I ripped all the vinyl/foam off the chairs and washed the skeletons down with lots of bleach water. Therefore, I don't have any before pictures.
This is the closest thing to what they looked like that I could find on google.

I am no where near done with the project, but here is where I am at so far (I'm proud of myself and want to share, even if unfinished).

After an hour and a half spent sanding all the rust off the chairs, I spraypainted them with Rust-Oleum red spraypaint.

Many days later (had to wait for the good old birthday for a JoAnn Gift Card), I purchased the fabric and foam for the chairs.

They look nice together, no?

And this is where I'm stopping for the night...er....morning!! :)
