for some reason, patchwork makes me happy.

i haven't posted in a while... i have been working on a new heavy duty bag for school which is taking me longer than i'd like. so today, i decided to make a simple quickie project.

after using a ziploc bag for my grips to keep them from chalking up the rest of my gymnastics bag forever, i decided a nice little drawstring bag would be better.

the outside is a patchwork of some scraps i had from making beach bags and a few other projects. the inside is, again, left over fabric from the beach bags, a solid lime green. the drawstring is a shoelace i found on the floor in my room.

and, just because he's adorable, this is twix, my boyfriend's guinea pig. i'm pigsitting him while my boyfriend is in california.
