This is my first post here! I just started looking around here last night and I got excited to do some stuff. Today I went to Wal-Mart and bought several items, including black embroidery floss, and so I just made did this:



That is my backpack on which I embroidered a rocket ship and a star. It's nothing major, but I had fun doing it. I haven't sewn anything in ages, not since I had to for home ec and classes like that in high school.

I also want to try stenciling on t-shirts sometime, but I couldn't find any cute shirts at Wal-Mart, so I'll probably try Old Navy. We don't have any good thrift shops or anything around here, so that's out.

I want to embroider some other stuff, too, maybe like a pillowcase, my purse, some jeans, stuff like that. I don't know yet!
