Home Made Wrapping Paper

I just use a roll of brown craft paper that you can get at any local craftstore and acrylic paints (Delta, but any will work).
I found this great product called Miracle sponge and you can trace out a design and cut it when its like this:

and then you just run it under the tap and wet it and it ends up like this:

I just put the paint on a plate (I often mix colors, especially silver or gold with another to make it shimmer a bit) and then sponge it up and put it on the paper, which I've already pre-cut to size. Here are a few pictures of some of the gifts I've wrapped and the tags I cut with pinking shears for that festive look:
