Well I've been crafting up a storm the past few weeks. Under the cut you will find a stash of birthday stuff (pouch, earrings, sleeping mask, marble magnets) two pairs of gloves that I knitted for myself and my boyfriend, Annnnd the icing on the cake, my very own duct tape dress dummy.
Here is the stuff I sent to Ms.
__urchin for her Birthday...

A close up of the very first pair of earrings I've ever made. Does anyone have any suggestions how to NOT have those little tails? I was thinking maybe glue them down?

My very first set of marble magnets, the palm trees were test magnets, the other 6 were for another friend's birthday.

I really wanted to learn to knit a few weeks ago so instead of making the usual 1st project, a scarf, I decided that GLOVES would be a great first project. I got a book and totally winged it on my boyfriend's gloves, they actually turned out ok, this is before the thumb went on since I had to do it separately.

For my own, I used the Oh my stars cheats gloves tutorial & white yarn.

Now for the dress maker's dummy, my most time consuming project. I used THIS as a guide. Then found an old broomstick, a bucket & some river rocks. I stuffed it with old newspapers & stuck some cardboard on the bottom so the paper wouldn't come out.

Thats me & my dummy, I probably over stuffed it a bit but I'm pretty happy with it & am excited to finally have some dresses that fit!
Those of you in NZ wanting to do this, the warehouse has super cheap duct tape. $4 for 30 meters or something crazy like that. I didn't even use 2 whole rolls.
The really good mixed berry pie recipe I used
