Today I'm working on marble magnets and corresponding altoids tins to give them in.

For my mama and gramma, a tin with a small quilt image decoupaged to the cover. I discovered my Keepsake Quilting catalog had LOADS of images of small quilts and blocks (plus images of fabric galore!), so I'm making her some quilt block marble magnets as well. Too late to get the catalog for christmas, but I URGE you to get their free catalog soon. You'll go crazy. Very sophisticated for those "normal" mamas.

For my step brother, the tin is made from comic book images and quotes which include his name. Luckily my husband is a comic collector so he knew JUST what superhero was named Jason ;) The magnets are itty bitty images and "Pow!" type stuff from the books.

I bought some new marbles today..the most clear round marbles I've ever seen...and can you believe, I got them at a LIQUIDATOR store for 50 cents a bag! They also had some beautiful cobalt blue oblong type oval-ish shapes...I have no use for them but my mind is saying "go get em!".
