So, fleece scarves are the easiest thing to make ever. Take a yard of fleece and cut it. The end. I made several about five inches wide and cut some fringe into the bottom. These suckers take, like, two minutes tops. For the average friend they're great, but for a really close pal who lives 5000 miles away who just happens to be in my country again for Christmas, it needs something more. Ivo and I have an inside joke about slugs and snails, so I "appliqued" a fleece snail onto a navy fleece scarf I cut. It's all stitched by hand, but I know nothing about actual technique so I just made it all up. Without further ado...CUTE SNAIL SCARF!

I'm so pleased.
