my first attempt at making a purse

alright so i used this tutorial from craftster.org (the hobo jordy bag tutorial)
and it was all working out lovely, until i got to the straps! I got pretty frustrated and cut them off of the pattern, then made my own and sewed them onto the bag with buttons :)
it looks okay.. for a first i guess.but i hope to get better its also kind of floppy because i didnt do interfacing why? because i dont know how or what to use.
