hi!! i remember making cinnamon ornaments in 4-H a long time ago. in fact, we still have em and they are suprisingly in one piece and smell nice!

you just mix ground cinnamon and applesauce together and make shapes with cookie cutters, then let them dry. i don't know the exact recipe, but here is one and some pictures!: http://www.mccormick.com/recipedetail.cfm?ID=1264

i hope someone hasn't already written about it. anywho, if you make them, you might wanna wear some rubber gloves, otherwise your hands might get stained from the ground cinnamon and smell like it.

i tried to make an uppity cracker one (think mindless self indulgence) but i messed around with it too much and then some of the letters shifted.
