removing paint from carpets?

craftgrrlok so i just spilled some paint on my apartemt carpet, and i was wondering if anyone knew what the best way to get it out is? it's just regular acrylic craft paint i got at michaels. i skimmed through the memories and didn't see anything that could help me there. thanks girls (and guys).
