Acrylic Water Hates Me!
Aug. 19th, 2005 12:48 pmI can never seem to get the mixture just right for acrylic water to set properly. The surface of a glass fill I have decorated is tacky. I am trying to brainstorm ways to seal it off permanantly that will dry clear and solid and still have the wet-look effect of water.
I was thinking of some sort of liquid varnish or enamel, like the kind you can get in the craft section of Wal-Mart. I was wondering if I painted some over the surface, especially in the tacky area of the acrylic water, if it would dry solid and seal it in, effectivly making it non-tacky and protecting the surface.
Anyone else have any experience trying something similar?
