I got one of those wooden cigar boxes they sell at Michaels and have been covering it with Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) imagery. This is the first piece I've finished, measuring 5.5" x 8", which is on the top of the box. It took me about 8.5 hours to complete, done in acrylics and ink. The sides aren't finished yet, and neither is the back. I will post pictures of those, and the completed project when I am done.
