craftgrrlQuick question - I've never spun yarn before, but I've been looking into it since I crochet/knit and would looooove to make some of my own yarn for my projects.. I'm looking at wool roving on various websites & on ebay, but I'm a little confused as to how many ounces I would actually need.
I just want to make small skeins, enough to make a hat (so about 60-80 yards) and of bulky or varying weight (similar to this or this or this).
