New Member and question
Aug. 28th, 2005 06:32 pmHello everyone. I've been meaning to join this community for a while now, but I wasn't spurred to actaully do so until I had this ridiculously dumb question. :P
So, I'm making this bracelet. It's very simple. I just attached three pieces of fishing line to a crimp bead and closure, and I made three beaded strands. Now, I want to twist them like a thick rope before I end off on the other end.
I used to do this all the time with yarn when I was little and made friendship bracelets. I remember it was simple logic that kept the "rope" twisted.
I don't know what's wrong with me, but I CAN'T figure out how to keep it from untwisting. I was thinking that the crimp bead would help, but now I don't think it would. I don't know what's wrong with me. I feel like a five year old with no logic. I'm just staring at the strands like, "duhhhh".
Can anyone help me? I know that when I get the answer I'll be like OH! but I apparently need some help. Maybe it's lack of sleep! :P
Thanks in advance for any advice. Hope everyone is doing well. :)
