Pottery Barn Bag

Last month I was rummaging around pottery barn and came across a pretty little decorative pillow case. I couldn't use it in my room, but I was in need of a new bag...



I folded the pillow case in half, and stitched along the sides. There was a zipper along the side so you could slip a pillow in. I didn’t close it up, so now it works as a hidden pocket where I put my money. For the strap, I braided some old hemp together (soaked it first, so it wasn’t sratchy). I plan on making the strap longer, because I like to have my bag strap go across my chest, rather than on my shoulder.
