Blender pen transger = machine washable?

I recently discovered the awesomeness that is the blender pen and transfering to fabric! Thank you to thimble.ca's lovely tutorial

My only question is: once you transfer an image onto fabric, will it fade a lot after machine washing? I would like to make t-shirts but am uncertain about how long the images would last.
