this is the story of a girl...
Aug. 31st, 2005 12:58 pma long while back, someone posted a tutorial about turning an old teeshirt into underpants.
well, i couldn't find the tutorial but yesterday am decided to embark on the mission alone. helpless. no guides. just my favorite old pair of underpants for sizing, a pair of scissors, a teeshirt, and a sewing machine.
needless to say, they turned out fabulous. i used a 'ninedays' teeshirt from about five years ago. i'm sure everyone remembers their poppy hit... "this is the story of a girl, who cried a river and drown the whole world..." i am still a big fan of theirs and simply couldn't let the shirt go to waste anymore.
probably not too work-safe... but it could be worse...

(no, my butt is not shaped oddly, there is just a weird fold in the fabric. oh well.

the front.
oh i just love them! and i think they have superhero powers in them because i managed to score not one, but two coffee "dates" while wearing them yesterday.
if anyone desperately can't understand what i did, i suppose i could whip together a quick tutorial. <3
