My school is collecting food and supplies for the Katrina victims and while gathering things I came up with the brilliant idea to make quilts. I know there might already be blankets provided and everything, but I thought this might be more special. If I were in that situation I would probably love it.
At the moment I have a $40 budget (Yeah I am using my WHOLE allowance for this month, haha!) and that will get me a few supplies but I really want to get into this, and I could even send some to the Wrap Them In Love Foundation.
SO I am asking YOU GUYS for donations of ANY quilting stuff you have like fabric, thread, batting, etc. Even old clothes made out of nice fabric! And sheets are great.
Also, if anyone knows of any other way I can help please post links. The news really makes me sad. :(
