Sep. 1st, 2005 08:35 amhello everyone!
i, like most people, have been keeping up with the news, reading about what has been happening to hurricane victims. i feel the need to do something, and since being so low on money, i can't really afford to donate cash. however, i do have a yarn and fabric stash that's pretty big and i figured i could make a few homemade toys and blankets for the children who have lost everything. i can't imagine what they're going through right now, trying to get rescued, or being forced to live in a deteriorating football stadium. i think that something cheery and homemade would at least give them a bright spot in their days.
the thing is, i've looked around and i don't really see any sites that want that. has anyone found something? has anyone else donated something?
