I had my very first custom order for a homecoming dress, and I just finished it yesterday.

Here is the sketch i made to work off of :

In the process I made two dresses, the first one I made came out much too big and just didn't work for me, the 2nd one was a test one so I wouldn't waste expensive fabric, and the 3rd is the final product.

oh and if you were wondering the back does clip in the back at the top, but I can't do it on my own, so that's why it isn't clipped up!

The part that took the longest on the dress other than the construction, was the bows...i have the HARDEST time ever tying them so that they look like pretty bows, does anyone know any tricks to tying bows pretty because it took me forever to do all 4 of the bows for this dress, All of the bows are pinned on so if she doesn't like where they are placed or how many or just wants to change the dress up on her own she can move then around to wherever she wants, also it helps when you get it dry-cleaned so they don't get all messed up...

So ya for the finishing of my very first custom-made dress, I actually like the dress a lot, the build of the dress is very fitting which i find hard to find for people w/ bigger breast sizes, the boning on the sides of the dress help to keep it in..
